Through the gift of hope we wanted to in courage and resource local churches to take what they already do well and see if they can make it even better but we also desire that these churches look beyond their services and plan to reach out in word and action over the festive period in numerous creative ways.

Some ideas:

1. Work with other churches in your area to offer a free Christmas wrapping service in your local shopping centre.

2. Take your Christmas carols out of the church and into your local community

3. Work in your local school taking lessons or running assemblies that explore the story and themes of Christmas.

4. Organise a fun open-air Christmas event

5. Think about how you can make your Christmas services more accessible and invite people to follow up events next year
