The Hope 08 vision

Why do one thing, for one week in one city when the whole church could rise to the challenge of reaching the whole nation for a whole year and beyond?

The dream is to change a nation. Admittedly it's not a small dream but since when did God ever tell us to aim small? We worship a wonderful God who we know loves every single one of the 60million plus people living in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. If we, God's people, are united in offering ourselves to God to reach and touch those around us, we have the potential to see him change the history of the United Kingdom.

Hope 08 isn't about telling you what to do, it's about getting involved in your community. It's not about a one-off evangelism project, it's about sustainable focused activity. The year of hope will have five a high point of focused activity to keep the momentum of mission up and make the most of the opportunities annually given to us.
