New Wine has three weeks of Summer conferences involving great speakers, an opportunity to worship God with thousands of other people and a great youth programme. You may have been to Newark or Somerset this Summer and got involved in the many things that have been happening. For those of us who stayed closer to home, the weather wasn’t quite the best for camping, but people still had a great time.
New Wine started in 1989 with about 2400 people and in 1993 the youth work had grown so much Mike Pilavachi had a vision for the young people to meet separately; leading to the birth of Soul Survivor.
New Wine isn’t just a UK thing, though. There are summer conferences in America, Sweden, Holland, and Finland with networks of leaders in many more countries, including Africa, Canada and New Zealand.
New Wine has main meetings in the morning and evening and time to go to seminars and chill-out with friends in the afternoon. There are opportunities to volunteer as well as going as a group for the experience.
